FOUNDER & CEO
“Striving for excellence is what drives me. I’m passionate about supporting our clients in finding unique ways to maximize their mental performance in ways that feel authentic to them. That’s why I started Courtex in the first place. When I was a collegiate player, I lacked the tools to consistently utilize my mental potential to my advantage. Instead, I just relied on trying to outwork everyone--and that wasn’t enough of an edge. I want more for you. Whether you’re a player, coach, or executive, my goal is to help you excel in your mental game and feel connected in your performance and life.”
Rainer, who founded Courtex in 2013, is the lead mental performance coach for our NBA and FIBA clients and also oversees many of our daily business operations. He has worked closely with numerous high level pros and prospects, as well as with some of the top coaches and executives in the game.
Additionally, he has provided NBA Pre-Draft consulting services to multiple organizations, including the Miami Heat, Utah Jazz, and Milwaukee Bucks. Outside of basketball, Rainer has consulted with clients in numerous other sports, up to the Olympic level. A native of Germany, he is fluent in both English and German.

DIRECTOR OF ASSESSMENT & SKILL ACQUISITION
"I believe that talent beats hard work when hard work doesn't understand their talents. Because of that, I love helping our clients discover who they are so that they can use that knowledge to excel in whatever way matters to them. Every person has an amazing capacity to learn but we do not all learn in the same way. My goal is to blend my expertise with your talents to develop a plan specifically designed to get to where you want to go. I truly believe that no matter what makes you tick, we can make it work!"

MENTAL PERFORMANCE COACH
aren@courtexperformance.com
"The mental game is about creating a life or performance that feels good on the inside, not just one that looks good on the outside. Through my experience as a player and coach, I discovered that the mental game is the difference between good and great. In my work, I focus on the development of the whole person to enhance performance on and off the “court”. My goal is to help clients fine-tune, train, and optimize the mental skills they already have and develop new ones as necessary."

MENTAL PERFORMANCE COACH
"Helping individuals broaden their self-awareness through creative inquiry is what drives me. Unlocking full potential means tapping into the core of who someone is, not just what you see on the surface. I support clients in moving toward their own version of success while emphasizing that high performance isn’t one-size-fits-all. I believe embracing the messy, complex side of performance leads to peak performance and is achieved when your mental, emotional, and physical strengths are in sync. At the end of the day, I strive to inspire others to show up authentically and perform in a way that stays true to themselves."
